These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the River and Sage Photography website and services. By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, booking services, or entering into a contract with River and Sage Photography (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services
River and Sage Photography provides professional photography services, including but not limited to weddings, engagements, couples, families, and lifestyle sessions. Specific services, coverage hours, deliverables, and pricing are outlined in individual proposals and contracts.

2. Booking & Payment
A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required to secure your date. Your booking is not confirmed until both are received.
Remaining balances must be paid according to the payment schedule outlined in your contract. Failure to submit payment on time may result in cancellation of services.
All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe).

3. Retainers & Cancellations
Retainers are non-refundable under all circumstances, as they reserve your date and prevent us from accepting other bookings.
If you cancel your services for any reason, you are responsible for any payments made up to the date of cancellation as outlined in your contract.
If River and Sage Photography must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to a full refund of all payments made.

4. Rescheduling
Requests to reschedule are subject to availability and must be submitted in writing. If we are unavailable for your new date, it will be treated as a cancellation.
Rescheduling policies may vary depending on session type and are outlined in your individual contract.

5. Image Delivery
Gallery delivery timelines are outlined in your contract. Typical delivery times range from 6–10 weeks for weddings and shorter timelines for sessions, unless otherwise stated.
Final images are delivered via an online gallery. It is your responsibility to download and back up your images upon delivery.

6. Artistic Style & Editing
By booking River and Sage Photography, you acknowledge that you are familiar with our portfolio and artistic style.
Editing style, color tones, and image selection are at the sole discretion of the photographer. RAW files are not provided under any circumstances.

7. Model Release & Usage
Unless otherwise stated in writing, River and Sage Photography retains the copyright to all images created.
We reserve the right to use images for portfolio display, website use, social media, marketing, publication, and educational purposes.
If you wish to opt out of image usage, this must be requested in writing prior to your session or wedding.

8. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
* Provide accurate information when booking
* Communicate scheduling details clearly
* Obtain permission for photography at venues where required
* Ensure cooperation of all participants during sessions or events
We are not responsible for compromised coverage due to delays, restrictions, or interference beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability
River and Sage Photography is not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, lighting conditions, venue restrictions, guest interference, or equipment failure beyond reasonable preventative measures.
In any event, liability is limited to the total amount paid for services.

All content on this website, including images, text, and branding, is the property of River and Sage Photography and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without written permission.
